Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a compassionate School Psychologist to support students’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success in a collaborative school environment.

You will work to diagnose and address mental health and behavioral needs, provide individual and small group counseling, and collaborate with educators and families to create effective support plans and IEPs. This role emphasizes a team-driven approach to student-centered care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from a NASP-accredited program.
  • Active state licensure and/or certification (or ability to obtain prior to start).
  • Previous experience working in schools or with children required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and support students with mental health and behavioral needs.
  • Provide individual and small group counseling services to students.
  • Communicate with teachers and parents to develop support strategies, including IEPs.
  • Collaborate with administrators to assess the effectiveness of mental health interventions.
  • Conduct evaluations and provide input for special education eligibility and services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district and professional standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
