Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a School Psychologist to support students and families in a collaborative environment. The role involves counseling, participating in MTSS and IEP processes, and coordinating with school staff to promote social and emotional development.

Qualified candidates will have a Master's in Psychology and either an endorsement or eligibility for School Psychologist credentials, with preference for pediatric mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology is required or expected.
• Endorsement as School Psychologist per state bylaws is required or eligible.
• Experience or training in pediatric mental health preferred.
• Ability to work independently with ethical standards.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with professional staff, parents and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Providing counseling services to students and their parents.
• Participate in multi-tiered support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs.
• Participate in initial IEP and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Collaborate with families and staff during weekly team meetings and follow-ups.
• Adhere to record-keeping, eligibility documentation, timelines and safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure required meetings and services.
