Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a School Psychologist to join our team dedicated to improving outcomes for children across the nation. The role focuses on counseling students and families, participating in MTSS and IEP processes, and collaborating with staff during weekly and follow-up meetings to support social and emotional growth.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master's in Psychology with a valid School Psychologist endorsement, and prior pediatric mental health experience

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Psychology is required.
• Endorsement as School Psychologist per State education bylaws.
• Experience or specialized training in pediatric mental health preferred.
• Ability to work independently with ethical standards.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to students and parents.
• Participate in multi-tiered systems of support for students with social/emotional/behavioral needs, including interdisciplinary meetings.
• Participate in IEP development and annual IEPs as appropriate.
• Collaborate with families and staff to support social and emotional development.
• Adhere to records, eligibility docs, timelines, and safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure required meetings and services.
