Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a School Psychologist to support students and families across the nation. The role focuses on counseling, IEP participation, and collaboration with school staff to foster social and emotional development.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Psychology with a School Psychologist endorsement (or eligibility) and has experience in pediatric mental health. Competitive benefits are offered with a strong emphasis on professional CEUs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology is required.
• Endorsement as School Psychologist by the State Department of Education is required or eligible.
• Experience or specialized training in pediatric mental health is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and maintain ethical accountability.
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills and communicates effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to coordinate activities with professional staff, parents, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to students and their parents.
• Participate in a multi-tiered system of support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs, including MDT discussions.
• Participate in initial and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Collaborate with families and staff to support social and emotional development.
• Adhere to procedures for record keeping, eligibility documentation, timelines, and safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure compliance with all required meetings and services.
