Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a School Psychologist (Certified) for a local contract in Cary, Illinois. The role involves conducting psychological assessments and collaborating with educators and families to support students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.

The position requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, an Illinois PEL with School Psychologist endorsement, and prior experience in school-based services.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement.
• Experience providing school-based psychological services and supporting K–12 students preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments, evaluations, and observations to support students' development.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student support strategies.
• Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP processes, and intervention planning to promote positive outcomes.
• Use assessment data to provide consultation, recommendations, and evidence-based interventions.
