Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group in Cary, IL is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for a school-based role for the 26/27 school year. Support a local district with full-time or part-time options, credentialed to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

You’ll join a clinically led team with NASP-aligned standards, collaborate with IEP teams, complete evaluations, documentation, and provide evidence-based recommendations to promote student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois School Psychologist license/credential.
• Ed.S. or higher from NASP-approved or equivalent program.
• Experience in psychoeducational evaluations and IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, academic, social-emotional, behavioral).
• Collaborate with IEP teams, school staff, and families to support student success plans.
• Complete documentation, report writing, and eligibility meetings (remote documentation where allowed).
• Provide consultation and evidence-based recommendations to school teams.
• Work within a clinically led team focused on student outcomes and service quality.

We offer a full-time or part-time position supporting a local school district and is ideal for credentialed School Psychologists who are passionate about helping students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Active School Psychologist license/credential valid in Illinois
• Graduate degree (Ed.S. or higher) from a NASP-approved or equivalent program
• Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations and participating in IEP processes

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Conduct on-site psychoeducational evaluations (cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral)
