Heartland AEA is seeking School Psychologists for the 2027–28 school year in central Iowa. The role includes delivering psychological services to support academic and mental health, collaborating with districts, families, and community partners, and contributing to RtI/MTSS decisions.

We offer a NASP-recognized program, a 192-day working contract, and a two-year onboarding/induction plus opportunities to pursue various career paths. Interns are full-time employees with benefits.

Formación

• Licensure: Professional Service License (or eligibility) through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners
• Education: Post-master’s level training in an approved School Psychology program (specialist degree or master’s + 30 preferred)
• School Psychology Interns are welcome to apply!

Responsabilidades

• Provide psychological services that promote students’ academic achievement, behavioral health, and mental health
• Collaborate with educators, families, and community partners to support individualized learning and behavioral plans
• Participate in RtI/MTSS model through assessments, interventions, and data-informed decision-making
• Participate in Child Find activities to identify and support students with special needs
