Job summary

A local educational institution in California is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to develop lesson materials and support student behavior while adhering to state standards. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in school psychology and a Professional Educator License. Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and implement lesson materials in accordance with district resources and alignment with State standards and Antioch CCSD 34’s philosophy and objectives
• Employs a variety of instructional methods/techniques and materials to differentiate learning activities for all students
• Promotes and maintains appropriate student behavior
• Participates on committees to develop and improve instruction and/or other building level goals/initiatives
• Actively pursues continual professional growth and is committed to our vision of making our school a place of excellence
• Maintains accurate and complete records involving student information required by law, District policy, and administrative direction
• Evaluation and remediation of communicative disorders
• Complete case study evaluations and determine eligibility within an RtI framework
• Knowledge of IEP policy and procedures, competence with IDEA rules/regulations
