Job summary

ESS Clinical invites qualified School Psychologists to join its team in Dayton, Ohio, providing psychoeducational assessments, IEP collaboration, and evidence-based interventions within a school-based setting.

You will support students across academic, behavioral, and social-emotional domains, partnering with educators and families to foster student growth and well-being throughout the school year.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology.
  • Valid School Psychologist license (state-specific).
  • School-based experience preferred; mentorship available.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments and re-evaluations.
  • Collaborate on IEP development and progress monitoring.
  • Develop evidence-based interventions for students.
  • Provide individual and group counseling support.
  • Support MTSS / RTI initiatives.
  • Partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support whole-child outcomes.

School Psychologist - School Based

Employment Options: Full-Time | Part-Time | Per Case

Location: Dayton, Ohio and the Surrounding Suburbs

Schedule: Monday-Friday | School Hours (Typically 7 hour days)

School Year / Contract: 2026 - 2027 School Year

Employment Type: W2 (Benefits Eligible Based on Hours)

Start Date: 2026 - 2027 School Year

Pay Rate: $55.00 / Hour

Assignment Experience (What You Can Expect)

(When available, ESS Clinical shares real assignment details early in the process)

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Collaborate on IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Exposure to a variety of grade levels (PreK-12 opportunities)
  • Work with 1–2 buildings when possible
  • Collaborative teams including Intervention Specialists, SLPs, Counselors, and Administration

What We’re Looking For
  • Master’s or higher in School Psychology
  • Valid School Psychologist license (state-specific)
  • School-based experience preferred (newer professionals encouraged to apply - mentorship available)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Passion for supporting student growth and mental health
