Blackstone Valley Prep Mayoral Academy in Rhode Island seeks a School Psychologist to support inclusive education and student success. You will administer tests, interpret results, and help teams design effective programs.

Engage in RTI, collaborate with support staff, and contribute to behavior plans while maintaining compliance with licensure and records. A bilingual edge is valued; RI certification is required.

Competenze

• Advanced degree in school psychology required.
• Rhode Island certification/licensure required by hire date.
• Bilingual candidates strongly preferred, but not required.

Mansioni

• Administer, interpret, and utilize psychological tests and evaluations to complete comprehensive reports.
• Participate in RTI processes for scholars with special needs and plan educational programs.
• Assist school teams in using data to plan instruction and meet standards.
• Identify scholars needing support and coordinate appropriate actions with staff.
• Collaborate with student support teams and assist in behavior intervention plans.
• Provide ongoing consultation and modeling of therapeutic strategies for staff.
• Maintain accurate scholar and staff records as required by law and policy.
• Manage an assessment caseload ensuring timelines per special education guidelines.
• Maintain certification in relevant psychological field; CPI certification.
