Job summary

Temporary Staffing Professionals is seeking a compassionate School Psychologist to support students in the Grosse Pointe, MI area. The role focuses on psychoeducational assessments, IEP development, and counseling to promote academic and social-emotional success.

You will collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers, maintain confidentiality, and ensure documentation and reporting align with district policies and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Active School Psychologist credential/license for Michigan
• Master's or specialist degree in School Psychology
• Experience with psychoeducational assessments preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and evaluations
• Support development and implementation of IEPs
• Provide individual and/or small-group counseling and social-emotional support
• Support students with behavioral, academic, and social-emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
• Develop recommendations and strategies to support student success
• Monitor and document student progress and provide reports
• Consult with school staff regarding behavioral interventions and student needs
• Maintain student confidentiality and follow policies
