Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a School Psychologist to provide essential psychological support to students in a K-12 setting near Flint, MI. This contract role focuses on assessment, intervention, and advocacy to promote academic and emotional growth.

The ideal candidate holds a Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology, is licensed in Michigan, and has experience with psychoeducational assessments, IEPs, and collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Current and valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist in Michigan.
• Experience administering and interpreting psychoeducational assessments.
• Strong understanding of behavioral, academic, and social-emotional interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify student strengths and needs.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to create and implement effective intervention plans.
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services to students.
• Support the development and implementation of IEPs, Section 504 plans, and behavior intervention strategies.
• Deliver professional development and consultation for school staff regarding mental health, learning, and behavior.
• Maintain detailed and confidential student records according to state and federal guidelines.
