Job summary

Global Psychological is seeking a skilled School Psychologist to join our team in Clinton Twp., MI. This full-time role involves conducting comprehensive assessments and collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development.

The position emphasizes diagnostic expertise across intellectual, academic, learning disabilities, adaptive skills, and behavioral assessments, plus generating detailed reports and participating in IEP

Qualifications

• Licensed psychologist (School Psychologist license or limited license) required.
• Pediatric and/or school-based experience required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments.
• Support the success of students academically, socially, behaviorally, and emotionally.
• Identify and assess learning, development, and adjustment characteristics and needs, plus environmental factors.
• Select and administer age-appropriate assessment methods and materials.
• Complete initial assessments on referrals from school districts.
• Perform intellectual, academic, learning disability, adaptive skills, and personality/behavioral assessments.
• Write psychological reports for initial and re-evaluation assessments.
• Interpret results and prepare comprehensive assessment reports with recommendations.
• Work on interdisciplinary assessment teams for placement decisions and IEP development.
• Participate in eligibility committee meetings for IEP planning.
