Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is hiring a School Psychologist to support students and families within our national program. This role involves counseling, participating in IEP development, and collaborating with teachers and specialists to promote social and emotional growth.

You will follow federal/state/local procedures, help coordinate meetings, and advocate for student needs while working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology.
• Endorsement as a School Psychologist per state requirements.
• Experience or training in pediatric mental health preferred.
• Ability to work independently with ethics and accountability.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Coordinate activities with staff, families, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to students and families.
• Participate in multi-tiered support for social/emotional and behavioral needs; attend inter-disciplinary meetings.
• Contribute to initial and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Collaborate with families and staff to support social and emotional development.
• Adhere to procedures for record keeping, eligibility documentation, timelines and safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure compliance with required meetings and services.
