Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) seeks a School Psychologist to join our team in the United States. You will provide counseling to students and their families and support students with social-emotional needs within a multi-tiered system of supports.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology.
• Endorsement as a School Psychologist, per state bylaws.
• Experience or training in pediatric mental health preferred.
• Ability to work independently with ethics and accountability.
• Interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with staff, parents, and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Providing counseling services to students and their parents.
• Participate in multi-tiered system of support for students with social/emotional and behavioral needs; attend interdisciplinary meetings as needed.
• Participate in initial IEP and annual IEP development as appropriate.
• Collaborate with families and staff to support social and emotional development.
• Adhere to record keeping, eligibility documentation, timelines and procedural safeguards.
• Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure compliance with required meetings and services.
