Job summary

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in school psychology with a 1200-hour internship (600 hours in school setting)
  • Master's degree in educational or counseling psychology with a 1200-hour internship (600 hours in school setting)
  • Current school psychology license or state certification
  • Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential

Responsibilities

  • Provide psycho-educational services including assessments and counseling.
  • Develop behavior management plans and classroom interventions.
  • Collaborate with school personnel, families and students.
  • Coordinate crisis intervention planning with administrators and staff.
  • Advise on use of psycho-educational tests for students with special needs.
  • Prepare clear written reports and communicate findings effectively.
  • Assist in program evaluation and data preparation for reviews.
