Qualifications

• Licensed to practice School Psychology in Ohio.
• Ed.S in School Psychology preferred.
• Acts according to Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators.
• Holds/maintains required Ohio Department of Education credentials.
• Maintains a record free of criminal violations that prohibit public school employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide psycho-educational evaluations for individual students as needed.
• Consult with teachers, parents and staff on behavior and learning concerns.
• Coordinate written evaluation reports for IEP development.
• Contribute to development of IEP considerations for students with disabilities.
• Counsel students individually and in groups related to educational disability.
• Maintain accurate records for all students served.
• Evaluate intellectual, social, academic, and adaptive behaviors.
• Participate in identifying students for IEP consideration and recommendations.
• Maintain written/clear evaluation reports.
• Suggest classroom management strategies for behavior improvement.
