Qualifications

• NASP/APA-aligned professional standards in psychology.
• VT license with School Psychologist endorsement required.
• Minimum five years of post-degree experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and student information systems.
• Experience with GroupWise e-mail system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess emotional, behavioral, learning and adjustment needs using data to plan interventions.
• Develop behavioral/academic interventions and monitor progress.
• Provide consultation and training to families, teachers and staff.
• Develop and evaluate school programs for behavioral/social needs.
• Deliver professional psychology services in an ethical and standards-based manner.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff; collaborate across teams.

Education

NASP Specialist Level or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

Vermont Professional Educator’s License with School Psychologist endorsement

Minimum five years of relevant post-degree experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and student information systems
