Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a district-wide school psychologist to support a diverse K-12 community across four Vermont campuses. This full-time contract runs nearly the full academic year, from late August through mid-June, with a 35–37.5 hour workweek and opportunities for benefits.

You will conduct psychoeducational assessments, develop learning and behavioral plans with families, and provide crisis counseling. Expect MTSS/PBIS involvement and collaborative eligibility/IEP meetings.

Qualifications

  • Vermont School Psychologist Certificate required.
  • Experience with K-12 populations, across multiple sites preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of assessment tools and interventions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration with students, staff, families.
  • Commitment to educational equity, positive behavior, and emotional wellness.

Responsibilities

  • Perform psychoeducational assessments across grade levels.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop IEP/504 plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and school-wide support.

Job description

Make a meaningful impact as a district-wide school psychologist, supporting a diverse K-12 student community across four campuses in a welcoming Vermont locale. This contract assignment offers an engaging full-time schedule of 35-37.5 hours per week, spanning the entire school year from late August through mid-June. Your expertise in school psychology will be pivotal in creating safe, inclusive, and effective learning environments for all students.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Vermont School Psychologist Certificate (required)
  • Experience working with K-12 populations, preferably across multiple school sites
  • Strong knowledge of current assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to fostering educational equity, positive behavior, and emotional wellness

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments for students in all grade levels
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized learning and behavioral plans
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation services school-wide
  • Support the implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
  • Guide and participate in eligibility, IEP, and 504 meetings as an integral team member
  • Offer district-wide consultation for mental health and academic needs
