Job summary

HeartShare seeks a School Psychologist to support cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral development for students with disabilities. The role conducts comprehensive assessments, provides counseling, and collaborates with educators, therapists, and families to create an inclusive learning environment.

Requirements include a Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology and NYS certification; ABA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for New York State School Psychologist certification.
• Experience with school-aged children, including those with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Knowledge of NYSED Part 200 Regulations and CSE processes; strong collaboration with families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results.
• Provide individual and group counseling for social-emotional and behavioral development.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families; participate in IEP/CSE processes.
