Job summary

Craven County Schools in North Carolina seeks a School Psychologist to support student cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and social development. The role reports to the Director/Assistant Director of Exceptional Children and follows a 10-month term.

Starting immediately, you will conduct assessments, provide counseling, collaborate with teachers and families, and help plan interventions in alignment with NASP and APA standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Valid license to practice as a school psychologist (Level II or III).
• Must pass and qualify for work in Pre-K (NCDHHS Background Check).

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments according to professional standards.
• Use assessment data to inform instructional strategies and program eligibility.
• Plan and implement interventions and services based on identified needs.
