Qualifications

• Five (5) years sworn law enforcement experience at a level equivalent to the District's School Police Officer position.
• Must obtain Intermediate Nevada P.O.S.T. certificate within one year of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates law enforcement activities and supervises assigned school police officers.
• Coordinates non-law enforcement activities and supervises assigned non-sworn personnel.
• Testifies in court as required.
• Inspects subordinate for appearance, equipment maintenance and order compliance.
• Writes reports such as arrest, burglary, vandalism, theft, and accidents.
