Job summary

Minot Public School District seeks a part-time paraprofessional to assist in classrooms with educational programs and special assignments. You will support teachers, supervise students, and help with lesson plans while maintaining confidentiality and accurate records.

Ideal candidates have an Associate’s Degree or a North Dakota Paraprofessional certification and pass a background check. The role requires 4 hours per day at MPS facilities and a collaborative, patient approach.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or high school diploma with Paraprofessional certification and background check.
• Experience working with children in educational settings preferred.
• Ability to follow Teacher instructions and school policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in classrooms with educational programs and assignments.
• Supervise and monitor students; provide individual and small group support.
• Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and distribution of classroom materials.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete required written reports daily.
