Job summary

Qualified candidates may hold an associate degree or higher, or complete two years of college with GaPSC-accepted coursework, or pass the paraprofessional assessment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an associate’s degree or higher from a GaPSC-accepted institution.
• Two years of college coursework (60 sem hrs or 90 qtr hrs) above remedial level.
• Must pass the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment or hold a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to students in resource, self-contained, regular classrooms or in-school suspension settings.
• Assist with preparing materials for instruction and classroom activities.
• Operate and assist with media center tasks and clerical duties.
• Support school-wide supervision and routine record keeping.
