Job summary

This position provides essential in-class assistance and coordination with school staff to maintain a productive learning environment. The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, ParaPro assessment, or 48 college hours/Associates degree.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of ParaPro Assessment.
• Or completed 48 college hours, possess an Associates Degree.

Responsibilities

• Help students
• Assist teacher in classroom
• Grade papers
• Work on bulletin boards (keep up-to-date calendar)
• Run errands for teacher (office, in-house, counselors, etc)
• Run off papers
• Take class for reading teacher for half day or less
• Help principal and/or in office as needed
• Fill in for other teachers as needed
• Help watch hall during class changes (daily)
• Help with school functions (ex: No pink slip parties)
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
