Job summary

Amergis is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a school-based, full-time assignment in Anchor Point, Alaska. The role focuses on supporting student participation and independence within the educational setting.

You will collaborate with students, educators, and therapy staff to implement OT goals and promote success in school. A pediatric background and current OTA licensure are preferred, with travel opportunities potentially available.

Qualifications

• Pediatric OTA experience preferred.
• 1 year OTA experience preferred.
• CPR current if applicable.
• TB/PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Health certificate per contract/state.
• Must meet all applicable requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Support student participation, independence, and success in the educational environment.
• Collaborate with students, educators, and therapy staff.
• Assist in implementing therapy goals and school-based OT services.
