Qualifications

• Must possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license from the State of practice.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers occupational therapy treatment according to the plan of care established by the Occupational Therapist.
• Documents communication with supervising Occupational Therapist and updates treatment goals as needed.
• Completes documentation within the established time frames and ensures progress is recorded.
• Communicates treatment results and progress to physicians, nurses, patient and care team.
• Participates in discharge planning and supports patient and family in decisions.
