Job summary

Amergis is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a school-based, full-time assignment in Anchor Point, Alaska. The role focuses on supporting student participation and independence within the educational setting.

Qualifications

Position Details:

• Location: Anchor Point, AK
• Position: Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

• Start Date: September 15, 2026
• Contract Length: 8 Months
• Schedule: 35 Hours Per Week
• Client Interview Required: Yes

As a School OTA, you will work collaboratively with students, educators, and therapy staff to help support student participation, independence, and success in the educational environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant required
• One (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
