Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide school-based OT services in a Reno, NV area school. The role focuses on evaluating student needs and delivering individualized treatments aligned with IEPs and 504 plans.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license (OT)
• Experience or interest in working with school-aged children
• Knowledge of school-based OT practices, assessments, and interventions

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage caseload documentation

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and develop individualized treatment plans

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other therapists to integrate OT strategies into classrooms
• Track student progress and maintain detailed records; participate in IEP meetings
• Provide training, resources, and consultation to staff and families to promote best practices
• Adhere to standards, ethics, and compliance requirements in educational settings
