Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Salinas, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time contract in a supportive educational setting. You will conduct screenings, develop IEPs, provide direct therapy, and collaborate with educators.

Applicants must hold a CA OT license (or be eligible), a Master\'s in OT, and ideally school-based experience. You will document with state guidelines and participate in IEP meetings to support student success.

Qualifications

• CA OT license (or eligibility) required or pending licensure.
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) required.
• Experience in school-based OT preferred.
• Proficiency in assessments, goal development, and intervention planning.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, staff and families.
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads with adaptable strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with educators and families.
• Provide direct therapy sessions to students in group and one-on-one settings.
• Maintain organized documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
• Participate in IEP meetings to support student achievement and well-being.
• Offer consultative support to teachers to create accessible classrooms.
