Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Nevada is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to support K-8 students in a dynamic educational setting. This contract role offers collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and a chance to foster students' growth and independence.

Responsibilities include assessing and treating needs, creating individualized plans for fine motor, sensory, and functional skills, and contributing to IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada OT license
• Experience delivering OT in school/home health
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, staff
• Ability to adapt interventions for K-8

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate needs of K-8 students referred for occupational therapy
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing fine motor, sensory, and functional challenges
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, families to support participation and daily living skills
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Utilize direct and consultative models of service delivery in school settings
• Provide resources and recommendations for accommodations to school staff
