Job summary

Soliant is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students in a Michigan school during a maternity leave coverage from November 5, 2026, through February 15, 2027, with potential extension. The role offers 37.5 hours per week and the opportunity to impact student progress.

You will collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to implement therapeutic strategies, assess progress, and document outcomes, both in person and virtually as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Michigan OT license required.
• Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred.
• Familiarity with IEP development, assessments, and documentation for students with diverse needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable providing therapy both in-person and virtually (VOCO accepted).

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students, addressing IEP goals and supporting academic participation.
• Assess, document, and report student progress.
• Consult with faculty, staff, and families to ensure therapy is integrated into students’ daily routines.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all state and district guidelines.
• Adapt therapy plans for in-person and virtual environments as needed.
