Job summary

AB Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026/2027 school year in Arizona. The role supports elementary to high school settings with a 40-hour schedule aligned to school calendars.

Requirements include a BA in OT, Arizona OT license eligibility, BLS/CPR, and pediatric/school experience preferred, with duties spanning evaluation, therapy, and documentation. Weekly pay is competitive with benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Must possess or be eligible for an Occupational Therapist License in the State of Arizona.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred.
• BLS/CPR Cert.
• Physical ability to meet job demands (e.g., standing, sitting, lifting up to 40 lbs)

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
• Competent care rendered to patients.
• Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
• Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
• Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
