Job summary

AB Staffing Solutions is now hiring Occupational Therapists for the 26/27 School Year across multiple locations in Arizona. This 40-hour per week position follows the school district calendar and serves elementary through high school students.

You will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, and deliver hands-on therapy while documenting care and collaborating with the rehab team. AZ licensure and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Evaluate patients and establish an individualized plan of care.
• Must possess or be eligible for Arizona OT license.
• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• BLS/CPR certification and ability to meet job demands.
• Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients by observing movements and using standardized tests to plan care.
• Provide competent care using exercises, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to motivate patients.
• Communicate patient information with rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines.
• Document all patient care per department policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment following infection-control policies.

Now Hiring: Occupational Therapists - OT (26/27 School Year) – Arizona

Location: Multiple locations across Arizona

Contract through the school year

Schedule: 40 hours/week; Follows school district calendar

Setting: Elementary, Middle, and High School openings

Pay

Weekly Pay: Up to $2,480

Your Role as an Occupational Therapist (OT)

• Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
• Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands‑on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
• Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
• Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols.

Occupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university
• Must possess or be eligible for an Occupational Therapist License in the State of Arizona.
• At least one year of relevant work experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred.
• BLS/CPR Cert.
• Physical ability to meet job demands (e.g., standing, sitting, lifting up to 40 lbs)
