Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Bristol, CT is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for full-time leave coverage in a school setting. The OT will evaluate students, develop individualized goals, and deliver direct and consultative services aligned with IEPs.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
Current CT licensure or eligibility to obtain before starting.
Prior experience in school settings preferred.
Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy practices.
Effective communication with students, educators, and families.
Ability to manage a diverse caseload efficiently and compassionately.

Responsibilities

Evaluate students and develop individualized treatment goals.
Deliver direct and consultative OT services in line with IEPs.
Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate OT strategies in the classroom.
Educate families and school personnel about strategies to support student success.
Adapt interventions as student needs change during the coverage period.
