Qualifications

• Current Connecticut OT license required.
• Experience in schools, home health, or teletherapy preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development, sensory integration, and adaptive strategies for elementary-aged students.
• Effective communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to split time efficiently between two schools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services to elementary students, supporting their educational and functional goals.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement individualized plans.
• Assess students' skills and needs, and document progress in line with school and district requirements.
• Integrate therapeutic activities into the school curriculum and daily routines.
• Adapt techniques for in-person, virtual, or hybrid service models as needed.
