Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract - full time role in Sanford, NC. The OT will evaluate students, deliver therapy services, and document care according to each plan of care.

Requirements include current OT licensure in the state, CPR if applicable, and compliance with professional standards. Benefits include competitive pay at $50 per hour, health/dental/vision and 401(k) with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of practice.
• One year of professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• The OT is responsible for performing student evaluations, developing and providing therapy services, and documenting services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each student.
