Job summary

BlazerJobs is seeking an Occupational Therapist in Sanford, FL to join our school district team. The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week), onsite, with a pay range of $30–$40+ per hour, and Monday–Friday workdays.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, an active Florida OT license, and has at least 1 year of OT experience. The role involves working with Elementary to High School students and supervising COTAs in accordance with their level of skill.

Qualifications

• Requires a Masters level degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Florida OT License.
• 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, self-care abilities, and school environment interaction.
• Create and implement personalized therapy plans to improve handwriting, motor planning, sensory regulation, attention, and self-help tasks.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) in accordance with their skill level.
• Provide functional supervision to coworkers in areas of expertise and experience.
• Onsite therapy services only.
