Job summary

Blazer Jobs is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a school team in Brandywine, DE. You will provide direct OT services to students, develop therapy plans, and support participation in classroom activities to empower independence.

Ideal candidates will have pediatric or school-aged experience, an active Delaware OT license, and strong collaboration with teachers and families. Weekly pay, benefits, and a structured school setting are provided.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Delaware.
• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred.
• School-based experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary school team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students with disabilities and developmental needs.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs and IEP goals.
• Assess students' fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and functional performance skills.
• Support students with handwriting, classroom participation, self-care, and other educationally relevant activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, parents, and other related service providers.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and therapy records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations to support student success.
• Help students improve independence and access to their educational environment.
