Job summary

Blazer Jobs is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students across a Wilmington, Delaware school district. The role focuses on developing fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, and functional skills to promote independence in classroom activities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
• Active Delaware OT license or eligibility to obtain one.
• NBCOT certification, as applicable to licensure and position requirements.
• Pediatric or school-based occupational therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students across the district.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plans.
• Support fine motor development, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, families, and related service providers.
• Document student progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed.

Education
