Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated School-Based Occupational Therapist to join a school-based team in Lancaster, South Carolina. You will evaluate and treat students in an educational setting, collaborating with teachers, families, and IEP teams to promote independence and functional participation.

The role centers on developing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals, delivering direct OT services, and ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Valid South Carolina OT license or eligibility to obtain licensure is required.
• NBCOT certification is required.
• Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based OT service delivery models is expected.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to identify OT needs affecting participation and independence.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct OT services to students across assigned grade levels.
• Support students in fine motor, sensory regulation, self-care, and classroom function.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and strategies.
• Complete evaluations, progress notes, and required reports; maintain compliance with district requirements.
