ConnectedHealth is seeking a School Occupational Therapist Assistant to support students in a Surprise, Arizona school setting for a 36-week contract. The role offers an hourly rate up to $55 based on experience, with responsibilities centered on improving students’ motor, sensory, and functional skills.

You will follow individualized education plans, assist in implementing therapy programs, and maintain compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• College diploma (A.A. or higher) or transcripts with 60+ credits.
• Valid license issued by Arizona Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners as OTA/L
• Valid driver's license
• Arizona Identity Verified Prints Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Social Security Card
• Minimum 1 year experience as Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Must obtain and maintain all required licenses and clearances
• Reliable transportation
• Must meet standard facility requirements
• Background checks required
• Physical demands include mobility and prolonged standing
• Soft skills: professionalism, communication, adaptability

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy assistance to students following individualized education plans
• Assist in implementing therapy programs to improve motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Maintain documentation and progress notes per school and state regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards mandated by the facility and governing bodies
