Job summary

ConnectedHealth is searching for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for a 36-week assignment in Phoenix, AZ. The role offers pay up to $43 per hour and focuses on delivering school-based occupational therapy to support students' IEP goals.

You will assess student needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with teachers to promote inclusive learning. Strong documentation and daytime availability are required.

Qualifications

• OTA degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and techniques.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with school staff and students.
• Ability to work standard daytime hours.
• Background check and health screening completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based occupational therapy services to students per IEPs.
• Assess students' physical, emotional, and developmental needs to tailor treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success and adapt therapy strategies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for students in OT.
