Job summary

KIPP Nashville Public Schools is seeking an Operations Coordinator to partner with staff, students, and families at KIPP Kirkpatrick Elementary School. This role ensures operational excellence as part of the school’s Operations Team, supervising the Office Manager and reporting to the Director of Operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating attendance, student data, procurement, and school events, while fostering a welcoming environment and engaging families through various channels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree desired, not mandatory.
• Two+ years in K-12 operations preferred.
• Experience with under-resourced communities, families, and students.
• Demonstrated success building relationships with leaders, teachers, students, parents, and community.
• Spanish and/or Arabic proficiency preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google apps.

Responsibilities

• Oversee school-wide operational systems, events, and communications.
• Lead family engagement initiatives and events.
• Coordinate field trips and school-wide logistics.
• Manage attendance systems and data accuracy.
• Support student recruitment and enrollment activities.
• Oversee procurement and purchasing processes.
• Ensure front office coverage and maintain office systems.
