Job summary

KIPP Nashville Public Schools is seeking an Operations Coordinator at KIPP Kirkpatrick Elementary School in Nashville. The role is full-time with immediate start and focuses on school-wide operations, attendance, data management, recruitment, and procurement.

The position reports to the Director of Operations and supervises the Office Manager, ensuring efficient processes, family engagement, and a welcoming school environment. Bachelor’s degree expected with 2+ years in K-12 operations preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is desired.
• Two or more years of work experience highly preferred.
• 2+ years experience in K-12 school operations strongly preferred.
• Experience working with under-resourced communities, families, and/or students.
• Demonstrated success in building relationships and trust with leaders, teachers, students, parents and community.
• Demonstrated success with design and execution of logistics.
• Proficiency in Spanish and/or Arabic preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Google applications with ability to quickly learn new technologies (Infinite Campus, Slack, video conferencing apps).

Responsibilities

• Maintain school operations and front-office systems.
• Coordinate with staff on planning and logistics of grade-level and school-wide events.
• Oversee attendance systems, policies, and improvement plans.
• Manage student information systems (SIS) data and reports.
• Support student recruitment, enrollment, and open houses.
• Administer procurement, invoicing, and budget tracking.
