Canandaigua Montessori School is seeking a Director to lead our Montessori program and ensure compliance with state/local regulations. The director oversees staff, curriculum, finances, and facilities, with salary in the listed range.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to build relationships with families and staff while managing budgets and tuition collections. NYS fingerprinting and background checks are required.

• Knowledge of the educational process; Montessori pedagogy to be obtained after hire.

• Hire, engage and develop a team of educators to be passionate and committed professionals.
• Partner with families to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Ensure compliance with state and local agencies.
• Support toddler and primary teachers through regular check-ins and communication.
• Give tours to prospective families.
• Develop content and update social media and website platforms.
• Organize fundraising opportunities.
• Develop annual budget and maintain financial records for review with Board of Trustees on a quarterly basis.
• Bill tuition for families and collection payments.
• Serve as liaison with the Board of Trustees.

Bachelor's degree with 12 credits in Early Childhood or related field; teaching experience
