Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Occupational Therapist (OT) in Whippany, NJ. This contract-full-time position offers 35 hours per week with pay at $70 per hour.

The OT will evaluate students, develop and provide therapy services, and document care according to each student’s plan of care. Qualifications include current OT licensure in the state, CPR if applicable, and compliance with relevant standards.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice
• One year of prior professional Occupational Therapy experience preferred
• CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Performs student evaluations and documents findings
• Develops and provides occupational therapy services
• Documents services in accordance with the plan of care for each student
