Flour Bluff Central Kitchen in Corpus Christi, Texas is seeking a School Nutrition Assistant Warehouse Manager. The role supports the nutrition program by supervising warehouse operations, receiving, storing and delivering foods and supplies to campuses, while ensuring safety and sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent), basic computer and arithmetic skills, and experience in quantity food storage and delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is desirable; basic reading, arithmetic and computer skills required.
• Completion of quantity food production and service courses desirable.
• One-year experience in quantity food storage, inventory and delivery service desirable.
• Experience supervising warehouse staff desirable.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with diverse teams.
• Safety rules compliance and proper equipment use are required.
• Completion of 15-hour Food Service Manager Course approved by the Dept. of State Health Services is required.
• CE/Training 6 hours per year as per Texas Dept. of Agriculture Standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising the School Nutrition Warehouse operations and deliveries to campuses.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of storage areas and equipment.
• Provide training to warehouse staff on duties and safety.
• Assign and coordinate work to promote efficient warehouse operations.
• Verify food quantities with cafeteria order sheets.
• Maintain inventory records and track leftovers.
• Store items safely and maintain food quality standards.
• Handle ordering and inventory using computer systems.
