Job summary

IRVING INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a FNS Supervisor to oversee day-to-day food service operations across multiple cafeterias. The role requires ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines, and leading the HACCP and staff training programs.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree (or higher) and ServSafe certification within three months. Exempt, 230 duty days, reporting to the Assistant Director of FNS, salary commensurate with education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field is required.
• ServSafe certification required within three months of employment.
• Ability to supervise and coach personnel in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, directing, and administering NSLP, SBP, CACFP, Afterschool, and SFSP/SSO meal programs.
• Perform audits using On-Site Reviews, Quality Assurance, and Meal Observations.
• Ensure compliance with NSLP, SBP, CACFP, and related regulations and HACCP procedures.
• Provide oversight of core component areas including special meal programs, food safety, and staff training.
• Lead employee orientation and training programs and ensure USDA/TD regulations compliance.
• Travel to assigned cafeterias using personal vehicle; mileage reimbursed.
