Job summary

SFE - Southwest Foodservice Excellence is seeking a Nutrition Programs Supervisor to ensure K-12 districts comply with federal and state NSLP/SBP regulations, plan compliant menus, and provide operational oversight. The role emphasizes problem solving and coordinating with district staff.

The position also involves conducting trainings, engaging students through programs, and driving innovation across district and corporate levels.

Qualifications

• Experience in school nutrition or related field preferred.
• BS in Nutrition or related field required; RD preferred.
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite reviews of assigned school sites to evaluate compliance and provide guidance.
• Plan and create menus within federal/state regulations for NSLP and SBP.
• Oversee communication with district staff regarding special dietary needs and menu topics.
• Create and implement training materials to support the district.
• Conduct trainings with kitchen staff.
• Engage students through programs like Farmers Markets, Health Fairs, and other student/community initiatives.
• Suggest new ideas to advance district and corporate initiatives.
